The Design Process

Initial Consultation

The first step is to arrange a visit to allow me to view your garden, show you my portfolio, discuss your detailed requirements and establish a budget.

Survey

Once we have agreed a proposal of work, I will survey the site and draw up accurate scale plans. I will also take photographs and assess the site characteristics such as soil, microclimate, topography and vistas.

Outline Concept Plan

An outline plan is then drafted to scale encompassing the main features of the proposed design. Changes can be made if necessary

Final layout Plan

When you are happy with the proposals, a detailed plan is drawn up in ink. This plan will include details of hard landscaping and necessary construction specifications

Construction

I will help you to find and select a suitable contractor. And once construction is underway, I can visit the site at regular intervals to ensure that the project is running smoothly.

Planting Plan

I can then produce a detailed planting plan. Plants will be supplied and planted.
